About Cygnus Innovations
Carlos has hundreds and hundreds of client hours experience helping his clients achieve their goals through the use of counselling and psychotherapy. He sees his work as Transformative and Innovative and chose the name Cygnus Innovations to reflect this. Cygnus is the constellation of the swan. Which combines the many symbolic notions relating to individuals shining like stars as well as the Archetypal fairy tails of personal transformation including that by Hans Christian Anderson ‘The ugly duckling’ in which a duckling, bourn in a barnyard is rejected and abused to then later grow into a wondrous and beautiful swan.
As with C. G. Jung, Carlos does not believe that significant issues in our lives can be resolved by quick fixes or solutions. Instead, Carlos believes that life is a transformative process in which an individual must grow and their current ‘situation’ and its issues is the place from which they must grow. He believes that there is nothing to be gained from running away or pretending that life currently is not what it is. Instead, with the help and support of Carlos, you can grow to accept and then express the courage and resilience necessary to carry you forward into the next phase of your life.
As for Innovative; Counselling and Psychotherapy in the UK as very much been handed over to the unprofessional and charitable, turning it into a minor ‘cottage industry’ of do-gooders hoping that through helping others they can find their own salvation. Carlos believes that an individual’s personal and psychological wellbeing should not be left in the hands of the part-time and unprofessional. Carlos’ practice is a dedicated personal service combined with full time professionalism.

Suzanne G. Counselling and Psychotherapy Suzanne is Carlos’ female partner in TonicTalk who has her own internet presence in the form of S.E.G. way Holistic Therapies – A holistic approach Psychotherapy and Counselling in Milton Keynes and Northampton. Suzanne is also a fully qualified, indemnified and experiences Psychotherapist and Counsellor offering services in and around Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. Top of Page
